First Bank donates $15,000 in relief funds to senior centers

First Bank recently received a $15,000 grant from the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s Targeted Impact Fund, which supports relief efforts for populations hardest-hit by COVID-19.

First Bank chose to distribute these funds to local senior citizen centers and, as a result, three $5,000 donations were presented to:

  • White County Senior Citizen Center (Carmi, IL)
  • Grayville Senior Citizen Center (Grayville, IL)
  • Wabash County Senior Citizens Center (Mount Carmel, IL)

Nikki Roser, President of First Bank says,We are so grateful to the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago for this substantial grant! Now more than ever, First Bank is committed to supporting our communities and the families who live here – and this helps us do just that.”
