First Bank Breaks Ground on New Vincennes Branch and Business Hub

First Bank breaks ground at Vincennes

First Bank officially broke ground on its newest branch in Vincennes.

This groundbreaking marks a significant investment in the future of banking and the local business community.

The new Vincennes branch reimagines the traditional bank location as a modern, digital‑first business hub designed to support entrepreneurs, farmers, businesses, and individuals. It will feature advanced digital banking services, welcoming lobby hours, and expanded access, along with flexible community rooms that invite local organizations, business leaders, and community members to gather, collaborate, and grow.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held the morning of Monday, April 20, at 310 Kimmell Road in the Kimmell Pointe Shopping Center, with First Bank leadership, community partners, and local officials in attendance.

“Vincennes holds a special place in Indiana’s story,” said Nikki Roser, President and CEO of First Bank.

“This is a community built on resilience, leadership, and pride—all values we share at First Bank. Strong communities deserve strong local banking partners, and our decision to invest in Vincennes was intentional. This is a vibrant community with deep roots and a strong future.”

Roser added, “This investment represents more than a building. It’s a long‑term commitment to serving businesses, farmers, individuals, and families right here. It will be a place where relationships matter, decisions are made locally, and clients are supported by people who truly know this community.”

Construction is expected to begin right away, with the branch anticipated to open later this year. First Bank will continue serving clients at its existing branch at 1231 Hart Street, ensuring continued local access to banking services until the new branch is complete.

First Bank remains committed to investing in the communities it serves, combining high-touch, high-tech banking solutions with a strong local presence to help local businesses, farmers, and families thrive.
